Your day at NTT DATA

The Software and Services Solution Architect is a seasoned subject matter expert responsible for demand generation within the Software and Services Solution Architect business, primarily to pursue and land qualified sales leads.

This role involves identifying new opportunities within existing accounts, presenting solutions, value propositions, partner configurations, cost structures, and revenue models to clients. A significant part of the role is engaged selling and supporting the sales process alongside Client Managers, contributing to pre-sales activities by collaborating with pre-sales architects to craft optimal solutions for clients.

What You'll Be Doing

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and execute the sales strategy in collaboration with GTM Leadership for Software and Services in the region/country.
  2. Share responsibility for win strategies with sales teams, challenge sub-optimal RFPs, and propose alternative approaches focusing on business value and differentiation. Drive engagement, pricing, contracts, and commercial terms for Software and Services sales.
  3. Serve as a subject matter expert on enterprise agreements, guiding Client Managers to suitable options based on client needs.
  4. Build sales plans to position Software and Services solutions, including Enterprise Agreements and License Agreements, with clients.
  5. Identify and promote upsell opportunities related to Enterprise Agreements, especially in secure networking.
  6. Support sales closures with domain knowledge of Software and Services solutions.
  7. Address technological challenges during the sales process.
  8. Maintain high knowledge of relevant products, software, and services for meaningful client conversations.
  9. Stay informed about the competitive landscape, market pricing, and strategies for market penetration.
