Clicks Group Limited is seeking a skilled Supply Chain Solution Systems Lead in Cape Town to optimize our supply chain systems, analyze current processes and implement improvements to enhance inventory management, order fulfilment and logistics.

You will gather requirements with stakeholders, design scalable solutions, coordinate with IT, vendors and business users, ensure data accuracy and governance, develop tests and drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Systems Analyst or Senior developer in Merchandise, Supply chain and retail domains.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in system design, data analysis, and process optimization.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Familiarity with ERP systems, supply chain management software, and relevant technologies.

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Supply Chain Solution Systems Lead to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in optimizing our supply chain systems, ensuring seamless operations and efficient workflows. This role involves analysing, designing, and implementing improvements to enhance the overall effectiveness of our supply chain processes.

Key Responsibilities:

System Analysis:

Conduct thorough analysis of existing supply chain systems.

Identify areas for improvement and efficiency gains in processes related to inventory management, order fulfilment, and supply chain logistics(WMS).

Requirement Gathering and documentation:

Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and document system requirements.

Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand user needs and business objectives.

Document agreed IT support solutions to ensure a consistent and high standard of support by team members.

System Design and Implementation:

Design and implement enhancements to supply chain systems based on identified requirements.

Collaborate with IT teams to ensure seamless integration and alignment with overall technology architecture.

Ensure solution designs are scalable, secure, supportable, and aligned with operational requirements.

Collaborate with project teams, developers, vendors, infrastructure teams, and business users to achieve successful project outcomes and ensure system stability once project is completed.

Data Management, Auditing and compliance:

Oversee data accuracy and consistency within the supply chain systems.

Implement data quality measures and ensure compliance with data governance standards.

Work closely with auditors to ensure data requirements are met and findings are resolved

System Testing and Validation:

Develop and execute test plans to ensure the reliability and functionality of system enhancements.

Conduct thorough validation of new features to guarantee successful implementation.

Proactively identify opportunities for continuous improvement and stability of supply chain systems.

Stay informed about industry best practices and emerging technologies to propose innovative solutions.

Develop automated solutions for manual processes where possible.

Requirements

Skills, Experience and Job Related Knowledge:

Proven experience as a Systems Analyst or Snr developer in Merchandise, Supply chain and retail domains.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Proficient in system design, data analysis, and process optimization.

Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Familiarity with ERP systems, supply chain management software, and relevant technologies:
