ATS Client in Centurion is seeking an experienced Solution Architect to design scalable, secure technology solutions aligned with business objectives. The role requires enterprise architecture, cloud expertise, and strong data management knowledge.

You will translate business needs into robust architectures, evaluate platforms, and mentor technical teams while ensuring governance and compliance. A minimum NQF Level 7 and multiple certifications are required for this senior position.

Qualifications

• Minimum NQF Level 7 in IT, CS, Business Admin, Commerce, Business or Engineering.
• TOGAF 9, AWS Solution Architect and Azure Solutions Architect Expert certifications.
• 7+ years experience as a Solution Architect or in senior architecture roles.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end technology solution design and delivery.
• Define architectural standards, frameworks, and guidelines.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into effective architectures.
• Evaluate and recommend appropriate technology platforms, tools, and frameworks.
• Ensure solutions are secure, scalable, cost-effective, and compliant with standards.

• Mentor development teams and provide technical leadership throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements

Minimum Requirements

• Minimum NQF Level 7 in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, Commerce, Business, or Engineering.

Certifications (one or more required)

• Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP)

Experience

• More than 7 years' experience as a Solution Architect or in a similar senior architecture role.

Skills & Competencies

• Expertise in cloud platforms (Microsoft Azure, AWS).
• Strong understanding of enterprise architecture frameworks (TOGAF).
• Proficiency in solution design across multiple domains (infrastructure, applications, and data).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively with both technical and business stakeholders.
