Our Client is a boutique law firm based in New South Wales, serving clients across Australia, China, Taiwan area and Malasia.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle matters across commercial transactions, family law, and immigration law, cross-border investment
  • Draft and review legal documents, contracts, and submissions
  • Represent clients in courts and tribunals when required
  • Advise clients in bilingual and cross-jurisdictional contexts, including matters involving Australian and Chinese law
  • Occasional travel to Shanghai (1-2 times per year) may be required for cross-border client work

Key Requirements

  • Admission as a solicitor in New South Wales
  • Familiarity with both Australian and Chinese legal systems
  • At least 1 year of full-time legal experience in relevant areas
  • Proficiency in both English and Mandarin (spoken and written)
  • Chinese legal qualification is highly regarded
  • Ability to work independently and within a small, collaborative team environment
