Job summary

ATS Client in Johannesburg seeks a Technical Support Manager to oversee the commissioning, design and ongoing support of solar installations across residential, commercial and agricultural sectors. You will lead technical teams, coordinate with clients and ensure compliance with safety and electrical standards.

The role requires Red Seal certification, an engineering degree, hands-on PV experience and travel to project sites.

Qualifications

• Red Seal certification is required.
• Electrical Engineering degree (BEng/BTech) or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in solar PV design, installation and commissioning.
• Experience with inverter and battery systems.
• Knowledge of local electrical regulations and codes.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites.
