Job summary

A leading engineering firm based in Port Elizabeth is seeking an experienced Electrical Draughtsman (Solar / PV) to join their team. In this position, you will be responsible for the detailed electrical design of solar systems, ensuring compliance with standards and conducting inspections of solar plants. The ideal candidate should possess a National Diploma in Electrical Engineering and have 2-5 years of experience in electrical draughting, especially in solar PV projects. A strong command of software including MS Excel and AutoCAD is required.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years experience in electrical draughting.
• Proven experience in solar PV projects (commercial and/or residential).

Responsibilities

• Complete detailed electrical designs for construction.
• Conduct inspections of under construction and operating solar plants.
• Prepare reports on system designs and assessed KPIs.
