Placements24 is seeking a meticulous Software QA Engineer to join our Vereeniging team on-site. You will design and execute test plans for web and mobile applications, document defects, and collaborate with developers to ensure timely bug fixes and product quality.

You will apply QA methodologies, write clear test cases, and participate in agile processes to continuously improve testing efficiency, leveraging tools like Jira, Selenium, and Cypress in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a QA Engineer or similar role in software testing.
• Solid understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
• Hands-on experience with automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress) is a plus.
• Familiarity with bug tracking systems and Agile development environments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
