Job summary

G Adventures is seeking developers to design, build, and maintain scalable software solutions that power our travel platforms. You will write clean code, implement APIs, and collaborate across product, design, and DevOps teams to deliver reliable software and high-impact features.

You will contribute to testing, documentation, and architectural discussions while mentoring junior engineers and driving best practices in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in software development with Python, Django, React, Go.
• Proficient in SQL and able to write moderately complex queries.
• Experience working with Web/REST/GraphQL APIs.
• Hands-on data modeling and system design experience.
• Experience with Git and command-line tools.
• Familiarity with nginx/uwsgi in real projects.
• Strong focus on scalable, maintainable code and best practices.
• Experience with unit/integration/system testing methodologies.
• Able to document code and architecture clearly.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for stakeholders.
• Ability to participate in code reviews and provide feedback on quality.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Experience with AI tooling such as Claude, Gemini, Copilot.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain reliable, scalable software applications based on requirements.
• Write clean, well-documented code following standards and best practices.
• Analyze and troubleshoot bugs and performance issues; provide timely resolutions.
• Develop and execute unit, integration, and system tests; ensure stability.
• Maintain technical documentation for codebases and architecture.
• Participate in code reviews and share feedback to improve quality.
• Contribute to architectural discussions and system design considerations.
• Estimate timelines and manage tasks to meet deadlines, signaling blockers early.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, test automation, and DevOps.
• Mentor junior developers and promote best development practices.
• Assist with deployment processes and successful production releases.
