Responsibilities

• Maintain and enhance our gift card processing systems, including number generation and transaction handling.
• Work on API integrations with external service providers and payment systems.
• Contribute to the modernization of our codebase, including migration to newer technologies.
• Implement security best practices and maintain system integrity.

Skills

Strong experience .NET development (C# or VB.Net)

Experience with REST APIs and web services

Experience with modern cloud infrastructure (Azure, AWS)

Experience building user interfaces and single-page applications

Understanding of security principles and best practices

Experience in SQL Server, stored procedures and database design

Working knowledge Git / source control

Understanding of IIS

Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines

Strong attention to detail

Excellent problem-solving skills

Day to day this role will

• Work on API integrations with external service providers and payment systems

• Contribute to the modernisation of our codebase, including migration to newer technologies

• Implement security best practices and maintain system integrity

What we’re looking for

• Strong experience .NET development (C# or VB.Net )

• Experience with REST APIs and web services

• Experience with modern cloud infrastructure (Azure, AWS)

• Understanding of security principles and best practices
