About the Role

This position performs moderately difficult research, design, and software development assignments within a specific software functional area or product line. The role requires the ability to work on individual pieces of work and solve problems, including designing program flow, effective coding, and unit testing.

Responsibilities

• Interface with other technical personnel or team members to finalize requirements.
• Write and review detailed specifications for the development of system components of moderate complexity.
• Work closely with other development team members to understand product requirements and translate them into software designs.
• Implement development processes, coding best practices, and code reviews successfully.
• Operate in various development environments (Agile, Waterfall, etc.) while collaborating with stakeholders.
• Resolve technical issues as necessary.
• Keep abreast of new technology developments.
• Complete bug fixes.

Requirements

• 3+ years of Software Engineering experience.
• BSc in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
• Understanding of data modeling principles.
• Comfortable with data-interchange formats: JSON/XML.
• Proficiency in development languages including but not limited to Python, Java, JavaScript.
• Familiarity with cloud service providers and their offerings: AWS, Azure, GCP.
• Knowledge of GIT and code repositories: GitHub, ADO.
• Experience with DevOps tools: Jenkins pipelines, GitHub Actions, etc.
