Software Engineer - Ground Control Stations - Aerospace

We're looking for an Electronic / Mechatronic / Computer Science Engineer with specific experience with Linux and QT for UI and UX.

MUST (NON-NEGOTIABLE):

1. Have a completed Degree in either Electronic, Mechatronic or Computer Science Engineering.
2. Have at least 3 years' experience in either C++, Java or Python.
3. Have experience in both UI and UX interfaces.
4. Have specific experience with Linux and QT.
5. RSA Citizen.
6. No criminal record.

Preferably: already reside in the Cape Town region, or be willing to relocate to Cape Town at own cost.
Hybrid or Remote is unfortunately not possible due to security reasons.

Key duties of the role:

1. Develop ground control station software to enhance user experience.
2. Develop software for UAV control from GCS.
3. Develop UI/UX interfaces.
4. Interact with database.
5. Integration with hardware.
