Job summary

A well-established recruitment company is seeking an Automation Technician to build strong customer relationships and ensure project success. The ideal candidate will have a National Diploma in Electrical or Mechatronics, along with a thorough knowledge of PLC systems and experience in the automation industry. This role requires the ability to navigate complex technical challenges on-site and provide exceptional customer support.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years' experience in Automation (automotive & paint plant experience advantageous).
• Good knowledge of PLC Software systems (Siemens, Allen Bradley, Mitsubishi, ABB).
• Ability to work shifts, weekends, and long hours as needed.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with customers and ensure site safety during projects.
• Provide technical assistance and standby support during production.
• Verify and compile data records of all test readings.

Job description

Duties : Build good business relationships with customers related to service activities.Site safety implementation during projects and service work.Attend site meetings and project meetings.Technical assistance during Production support time (breakdowns).Verify and compile data records of all test readings (reports).Meeting project deadlines.Strong understanding of Software & Commissioning practices and processes.Ability to work shifts, weekends and overtime & able to work long hours when needed.Quality focus and team player.

Driver's License and own transport.

Requirements : Good knowledge of PLC Software systems (siemens Simatic S7, Siemens TIA, WinCC) Allen Bradley, Mitsubishi, ABB advantageous.

Set up and configure various network devices (drives, Remote I / ), Sensors).Project Planning, installation and commissioning for installations.

Provide standby support to customers from project SOP.
