Job summary

Network Finance is seeking a software engineer to design, develop, and maintain backend services and REST APIs in Linux environments. You will collaborate across teams to deliver scalable, customer-facing applications using React/Angular/Vue, with Docker and Kubernetes for containerized deployments.

The role requires strong OO skills, agile mindset, and good communication. You will contribute to continuous improvement and innovation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or Software Engineering.
• BSc in Computer Science is advantageous.
• 4+ years of software development experience.
• 2+ years supporting large-scale apps in operations.
• Experience with backend software and APIs.
• Strong object-oriented programming skills.
• Frontend tech in React/Angular/Vue.
• Experience on Linux/Unix environments.
• Experience with Docker or Kubernetes.
• Understanding of Agile methodologies.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Self-motivated with ability to work independently and in a team.
• Continuous learning and innovation.
• Experience supporting operational and customer-facing environments is advantageous.

Requirements:

• Relevant Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• A BSc majoring in Computer Science will be advantageous.
• Minimum of 4+ years' software development experience.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience supporting large-scale applications in an operational environment.
• Experience developing and maintaining backend software and APIs.
• Strong object-oriented programming skills.
• Experience with front-end development technologies such as React, Angular, or Vue.
• Experience developing software within Linux/Unix environments.
• Experience working with containerization technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes.
• Understanding of Agile software development methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and within a team environment.
• Passion for continuous learning and professional development.
