Join our consulting client as a Development Manager with a strong interest in personal coaching, mentoring, and supporting individuals in complex delivery environments. You'll be the guardian of these vital aspects within our company. You’ll also be very hands-on. This means you'll be fully engaged in all the different delivery streams, acting as a delivery champion, managing expectations, clearing obstacles, negotiating terms and contracts, and essentially being the go-to person for our corporate clients.

POSITION INFO :

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

DELIVERY

1. Status tracking of project tasks, milestones, deliverables, or key dates
2. Risk and expectation management – resourcing, deliverables, requirements, and at times budgets
3. Taking high-level responsibility (planning and leading) for software project delivery management
4. These projects are not SAP v4 to v5 upgrades, they are custom builds with a fair bit of tact and problem solving required. They are also not 3 years; typically, projects will be 6-18 months
5. Working closely with 5 or more teams operationally
6. Performing business analysis / problem solving on the fly, and rapidly context switching

PEOPLE

1. Forming and norming software delivery teams including taking responsibility for the onboarding, off boarding, and rotation of people on your team
2. Closely coaching our software teams on practice, communication, and culture and identifying opportunities for personal growth for team members
3. Coaching and mentoring staff including one-on-ones, performance reviews, and personal career mapping
4. Team-building, cohesion, and identity management

CUSTOMER

1. Client account management – building relationships and presenting a professional, engaged front for Entelect, as well as managing commercials, financials, and administration
2. Maintaining a high degree of client communication – you will often be the point contact for a client
3. The composition, delivery, and tracking of client status reports
4. Facilitating client feedback at all touchpoints (demos, meetings, calls, etc), and the management thereof
5. Positioning Entelect as a trusted partner with the intent of helping solve customers’ toughest business problems
6. Seeking opportunities to strengthen our partnership with our customers

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU

1. Minimum 8 years in the IT industry as an Analyst / PM / Software developer with experience in consulting
2. Non-negotiable is a BSc, BIS, or BEng degree in Computer, Software, Information or electronic related Sciences from a reputable university
3. Minimum 5 years' experience leading and managing teams in all aspects of coaching, performance management and driving team culture
4. A hunger to continually improve those around you through mentorship, guidance and awareness of what drives those on your team
