Job summary

Amazon Development Centre (South Africa) (Proprietary) Limited in Cape Town is seeking a software developer to build cloud‑native services for AWS customers. You will work on highly available, secure systems using Lambda, DynamoDB, API Gateway, and other modern AWS technologies.

Join a Scrum team, contribute to architecture, and own components through design, test, and operations while ensuring real-time data and strict SLAs.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of full software development life cycle experience including coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, and operations.
• Experience building complex software systems that have been successfully delivered to customers.
• Experience contributing to architecture and design (patterns, reliability, scalability) of new and existing systems.
• Proficiency in at least one object‑oriented programming language.
