Our client in the global professional services industry is seeking a Software Development Engineer to implement, configure, and optimize time and attendance solutions that enhance workforce efficiency and compliance. This role ensures high-quality application and systems support, assesses the business impact of requests, performs in-depth analyses, and provides second-line support for both technical and functional solutions.
What you will do:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and design solutions that meet business needs.
- Implement and configure Workforce Software Time Solution modules with WorkForce Software integration.
- Provide expertise in time tracking, scheduling, and reporting functionalities.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to time management and attendance tracking.
- Conduct user training sessions and create documentation for end-users.
- Support system upgrades and enhancements, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
- Work with cross-functional teams to integrate time management solutions with other HR and payroll systems.
- Provide high-quality operational and technical application and systems support to customers and internal business functions.
- Resolve incidents, problems, service requests, and change requests in line with business priorities.
- Ensure incident/request updates meet acceptable quality standards.
- Document and analyze defects for solution teams.
- Participate in priority war room sessions and be available for operational support.
- Collaborate with Solution Delivery and Architectural teams for planning, designing, architecture, development, and configuration of Workforce Software platforms.
- Translate business requirements into system enhancements, including analysis, functional design, development, testing, and deployment.
- Participate in deployment handover sessions and internal projects.
- Ensure system stability and produce SOPs for daily operations.
- Drive continuous improvement by minimizing the adverse impacts of incidents and problems and preventing recurrence.
Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience in a related field.
- Mid-level expertise in SAP Workforce Software.
- Knowledge of Agile and SDLC processes.
- Experience with Workforce Software configuration and development (certification required).
- Strong facilitation, investigative, and structured analysis skills.
- Strong relationship-building, accountability, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and demonstrate analytical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Proficiency in persuading and influencing stakeholders.
- Strong time management and perseverance in delivering solutions.
