Sage X3 Developer

Driving digital transformation in mining operations
R 850 000.00 + CTC

Key Responsibilities:

1. Customize and implement Sage X3 ERP solutions to support mining operations, inventory, procurement, and financial workflows.
2. Analyze and optimize mining-related workflows, automating manual processes and integrating data-driven decision-making tools.
3. Develop integrations between Sage X3 and other mining software, including fleet management, geology, and exploration tools.
4. Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security across all Sage X3 modules, supporting compliance with industry regulations.
5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, procurement, finance, and operations) to enhance software utilization and efficiency.
6. Troubleshoot system issues, provide technical support, and recommend improvements based on industry best practices.
7. Design reporting and dashboard solutions to support real-time monitoring of mining operations, costs, and productivity.
8. Stay up-to-date with advancements in ERP, automation, and mining technologies to provide innovative solutions.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
2. 4+ years of experience in software development with Sage X3, ideally in a mining, logistics, or heavy industry environment.
3. Strong understanding of workflow automation, data optimization, and ERP process improvement.
4. Proficiency in SQL, JavaScript, and other programming languages relevant to Sage X3 development.
5. Experience integrating Sage X3 with mining-specific tools (e.g., fleet management, procurement, safety, or exploration software).
6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work under dynamic operational conditions.
7. Excellent communication and documentation skills for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
