Placements24 is hiring a Software Developer with a strong Java background for a fully remote role. You will design, develop, test, and deploy Java-based microservices, collaborating with a distributed team on high-performance financial applications.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of Java experience, familiarity with Spring Boot or Micronaut, RESTful services, and relational databases. Strong communication in a remote setting is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in Java development.
• Strong understanding of Java 8+ and OO programming.
• Experience with Spring Boot or Micronaut frameworks.
• Proficiency in developing and consuming RESTful web services.
• Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and SQL.
• Familiarity with Maven/Gradle and Git.
• Experience with microservices architecture is a plus.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, especially in a remote setting.
