Position: Social Strategy & Insights Manager

Overview
We are seeking a strategic, data-savvy, and creative Social Strategy & Insights Manager to lead the brand’s digital presence across all platforms.
This highly visible role will transform storytelling into strategy, content into community, and engagement into measurable growth. You will define the future of our brand’s voice on social media, applying insight-led strategies, ensuring creative cohesion, and maximising the ROI of digital campaigns.
Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & Planning
- Design and implement an integrated social media strategy across platforms including Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, TikTok, and emerging channels.
- Align strategies with business goals, seasonal campaigns, and key initiatives.
- Develop 360° digital channel plans that integrate social media, SEO, email marketing, performance media, and content creation.
- Define and monitor KPIs for paid and organic content, optimising for engagement, conversion, and reach.
- Lead social content planning cycles in collaboration with creative, commercial, and operational teams.
Content & Platform Management
- Oversee the production and publication of high-performing content (static posts, videos, reels, stories, carousels, etc.) while ensuring the brand voice remains distinctive, authentic, and inspiring.
- Maintain a detailed content calendar reflecting campaign launches, guest stories, environmental days, and other milestones.
- Collaborate with designers, videographers, and copywriters to create impactful, visually engaging narratives.
Performance Monitoring & Insights
- Implement monitoring systems using tools such as Meta Business Suite, Google Analytics, or Sprout Social.
- Produce detailed performance and insight reports to guide content strategy, audience targeting, and investment decisions.
- Experiment with new formats, trends, and features, using data to inspire creative decision-making.
Team Leadership & Stakeholder Alignment
- Lead and mentor a digital content coordinator and freelance contributors to deliver results under tight deadlines.
- Serve as a key liaison between marketing, PR, content, commercial, and operational teams to ensure brand consistency.
- Participate in cross-functional planning to align social media strategy with business development and brand visibility goals.
Innovation, Growth & Crisis Management
- Drive innovation through influencer engagement, campaign launches, and trend-based content opportunities.
- Manage the brand’s online reputation, ensuring proactive responses and consistent messaging during high-visibility moments.
- Stay ahead of platform algorithm changes, updates, and digital trends, applying relevant developments to strategy.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in social media and digital marketing, including at least 2 years in a leadership or strategic role.
- Proven track record managing multi-channel strategies across both organic and paid platforms.
- Strong creative and editorial sensibility, supported by a portfolio of successful campaigns.
- Expertise in audience segmentation, targeting, and performance optimisation.
- Highly analytical, with deep knowledge of tools such as Meta Insights, Google Analytics, Sprinklr, or Sprout Social.
- Strong leadership skills, with experience mentoring creative teams.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment requiring precision and agility.
- Experience within travel, hospitality, conservation, or luxury consumer brands is highly advantageous.
