IIE Rosebank International, part of the ADvTECH Group, invites passionate professionals to join our dynamic team as a lecturer. You will teach an agreed number of hours, engage students for assessments, and support the Central Academic Team in monitoring performance and at-risk modules.

We seek candidates with a relevant honours degree and several years of lecturing or tutoring experience, plus familiarity with digital learning platforms and SA higher-education regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Arts Honours or BA Social Science Honours.
• Honours Degree in Social Sciences with Criminology as a major.
• 3 years lecturing or tutoring experience.
• 2-3 years industry experience.

Responsabilités

• Deliver lectures and engage students based on module-specific requirements.
• Manage resources including academic materials and consulting with the Information Centre.
• Update learning management system and provide feedback to students.
• Engage and prepare students for assessments, identify at risk students, and develop assessments.
• Monitor student engagement and assessment submission with escalation.
• Attend and participate in academic meetings across faculties.
• Reflect on, review, and analyse student module results.
• Support monitoring of at-risk students in modules assigned to lecture.
