We are on the hunt for a Podcast & Social Media Video Creator / Producer to join our client's team.

What You'll Be Doing :

As a Podcast & Social Media Video Creator / Producer, you will be responsible for the end-to-end production of high-quality video and audio content for podcasts and social media platforms.

You will research trending topics, optimize content for audience growth, and ensure seamless video production and editing.

This role requires creativity, technical expertise, and a deep understanding of digital content trends.

Key Responsibilities :

• Content Research & Strategy : Use tools like vidIQ to research trending topics, optimize video metadata, and develop content strategies to grow audience engagement.
• Video & Podcast Editing : Edit and synchronize audio/video content, add branding elements, and ensure high production quality.
• Thumbnail & Graphic Creation : Design compelling thumbnails and graphics using Canva or Photoshop to maximize clicks and engagement.
• Social Media Content Creation : Produce and schedule short-form content (Reels, TikTok, LinkedIn, Facebook) optimized for various platforms.
• Analytics & Performance Tracking : Monitor video performance using YouTube Studio and vidIQ, making data-driven recommendations to increase reach.
• Publishing & SEO Optimization : Upload content, apply metadata best practices, and optimize descriptions, tags, and titles for visibility.
• Project & File Management : Organize assets, maintain version control, and ensure seamless collaboration with stakeholders.

Qualifications & Skills :

• Bachelor's degree in Film Production, Media Studies, Marketing, or a related field (preferred but not required).
• 3+ years of experience in video production, podcast editing, or social media content creation.
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, Audition, and Photoshop.
• Strong understanding of YouTube algorithms, SEO, and metadata best practices.
• Experience using vidIQ, Frame.io, Dropbox, and YouTube Studio.
• Hands-on experience managing content across YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and Facebook.
• Excellent project management and organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong research skills for identifying audience trends and content opportunities.
• High attention to detail and a commitment to delivering polished, engaging content.

Where and How You Can Work :

To be successful, you'll need to :

• Work on-site from our office in Ilovo, Sandton.
• Be willing to work non-traditional South African office hours to align with content release schedules.
• Have excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
