Job Responsibilities
Instagram Strategy & Growth
- Lead the planning and execution of localized Instagram content strategies to engage adult consumers in the Indian market.
- Build a strong, visually-driven brand identity through curated feed posts, Reels, Stories, and Highlights.
- Align content with product launches, promotions, seasonal moments, and local cultural trends.
Content Creation & Curation
- Collaborate with designers, photographers, and copywriters to produce high-impact visuals and compelling captions.
- Create and manage a consistent posting calendar, including short-form video content tailored for Reels.
- Leverage UGC, influencer collaborations, and viral formats to drive reach and relatability.
Audience Engagement & Community Building
- Interact daily with followers via comments, DMs, polls, stickers, and live sessions.
- Cultivate a loyal digital community by encouraging feedback, participation, and co-creation.
- Identify brand advocates and micro-influencers to amplify reach and trust.
Campaign Execution & Reporting
- Launch Instagram-specific campaigns such as giveaways, story series, and hashtag challenges.
- Monitor key performance indicators (follower growth, reach, engagement rate, click-throughs) and report on outcomes.
- Adjust content strategies based on data insights and platform algorithm updates.
Brand Compliance & Sensitivity
- Ensure that all Instagram content complies with India’s digital advertising regulations, platform policies, and age-restriction requirements.
- Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to flag sensitive content areas and uphold responsible messaging.
What We’re Looking For
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or Digital Media
- 3–5 years of experience managing Instagram for a lifestyle, fashion, consumer tech, or youth-focused brand
- Proven success growing an Instagram audience and launching high-performing campaigns in India
Key Skills
- In-depth understanding of Instagram algorithms, content formats, and engagement best practices
- Strong visual aesthetic and ability to direct creative assets (photoshoots, reels production)
- Skilled in analytics tools (Meta Business Suite, Instagram Insights, Google Analytics)
- Bilingual in English and Hindi (Tamil/Telugu/Kannada a plus)
- Knowledge of social media regulations in India for adult products is preferred
