A leading global developer and marketer of high-performance sport apparel is looking for a Social Media & Digital Marketing Specialist to join their fast-paced Marketing team.
This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a creative, strategic environment and has a solid understanding of building brand presence across digital and social platforms — locally and internationally.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute the full social media strategy to support product launches, athlete sponsorships, brand campaigns, events, and trade shows.
- Manage daily social media community engagement across all platforms — including comments, direct messages, and overall follower interaction.
- Own and execute the social media content calendar, ensuring consistent and engaging posts aligned with the broader marketing plan.
- Distribute and syndicate content for global use via third-party sharing platforms or direct exports.
- Respond to customer queries on social channels within agreed response times.
- Provide monthly strategic input with fresh content ideas and campaign recommendations.
- Implement content for global markets, with attention to localisation and audience-specific messaging.
- Analyse audience targeting across platforms and adjust strategies for optimisation.
- Advise on improvements for customer engagement, feedback, and social media integration with web platforms.
- Plan and execute targeted digital advertising campaigns across Meta, Google (text, banner, and video), and YouTube.
- Monitor digital trends, competitors, and community feedback using relevant tools, and share insights with the team regularly.
- Produce standard monthly performance reports for internal review.
- Assist with tracking and managing the digital marketing budget.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in social media and digital marketing roles.
- Excellent written and visual content creation skills (photo, video, text).
- Hands-on experience with all major social platforms, analytics tools, and scheduling software.
- Strong knowledge of online marketing strategy and digital advertising channels.
- Excellent organisational skills, detail orientation, and ability to manage multiple projects.
- A collaborative, proactive mindset with strong communication skills.
- Degree or diploma in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or related field is an advantage.
