Job description

At So Interactive, we create breakthrough digital experiences that elevate brands and drive real engagement.

We blend strategy, creativity, and data-driven insights to deliver content that is impactful, entertaining, and effective.

We're looking for a highly skilled Social Media Manager to join our team and help us bring brands to life across digital platforms.

About the Role

This role requires a strategic creative thinker who understands social media trends, content creation, audience engagement, and performance analytics.

You will be responsible for executing high-impact social media campaigns, ensuring that content is not only visually compelling but also strategically aligned to business objectives. You will own the end-to-end social media process, from strategy to content ideation to execution, engagement, and reporting while collaborating with designers, digital strategists, and content creators.

Your goal: Build engaging, results-driven social media campaigns that spark conversations, grow communities, and deliver business impact. This is a remote position, but collaboration is key.

Although remote, this will require in-person meetings and on-site presence with clients and team members from time to time. You will work closely with a cross-functional team.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Content Strategy & Planning
    • Develop content calendars & social strategies aligned with client KPIs.
    • Conceptualise creative campaign ideas to boost engagement and conversions.
    • Develop brand-aligned content strategies, ensuring tone of voice is consistent across platforms.
    • Identify and leverage emerging trends, platform features, and viral opportunities.
    • Write engaging social media copy, captions, and campaign messaging.
    • Work with designers and video editors to create high-quality visual content (images, carousels, reels, TikToks, stories, and long-form video).
    • Plan, create, and schedule multi-platform content (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, Twitter, YouTube, etc.).
  2. Community Engagement & Growth
    • Actively monitor and engage with audiences in real time—responding to comments, messages, and brand mentions.
    • Cultivate brand advocates and identify opportunities for UGC (User-Generated Content).
    • Manage crisis communication and social media reputation management.
    • Plan paid social media campaigns for reach, engagement, and conversion in collaboration with the media team.
    • A/B test ad creatives, copy, and audiences to optimise performance.
    • Work closely with the performance team to ensure campaigns align with broader digital marketing strategies.
    • Track, measure, and analyze social media performance metrics (engagement, reach, impressions, CTR, conversions, etc.).
    • Use insights to refine content strategies and improve results over time.
    • Deliver weekly / monthly performance reports with clear recommendations.

Who You Are

You're a creative problem solver who understands both the art and science of social media marketing. You love crafting content that resonates with audiences, but you also know how to measure and improve performance based on data. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are always ahead of digital trends. You have an eye for storytelling. You're a natural at sparking conversations and building communities. You're a strategic thinker who understands how content connects to business growth. You have a great grasp of pop culture.

Requirements

  1. 3+ years of experience in social media management, digital content strategy, or related roles.
  2. Strong copywriting skills with a keen understanding of brand tone and messaging.
  3. Experience with Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube, and emerging platforms.
  4. Proficiency in social media scheduling & analytics tools (Meta Business Suite, Sprout Social, Hootsuite, etc.).
  5. Familiarity with Canva, CapCut, Adobe Creative Suite, or other design tools is a bonus.
