Job description

We’re on the hunt for a highly skilled and driven Social Media & Content Manager to join our team. This role is ideal for someone at a medium to senior management level who can lead multi-platform strategies, engage with high-level clients, and produce standout creative content. You’ll be managing multiple brands across various sectors including tech, NGOs, education, and retail.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement social media strategies across Instagram, X (Twitter), YouTube, Facebook, LinkedIn
  • Conceptualise and execute creative campaigns and content plans
  • Design graphics using Canva; basic video editing and creation of social media reels
  • Community management : actively engage with online audiences and grow follower bases
  • Manage and report on paid social media campaigns and budgets
  • Work across multiple clients, tailoring content and strategies to suit different sectors
  • Provide social media support for senior leadership, including crafting and managing LinkedIn content
  • Liaise with senior-level clients, lead meetings, and offer strategic advice as a trusted advisor
  • Maintain an “always-on” mindset in line with social media’s nature

Requirements

  • Based in Cape Town
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in a similar role (medium to senior level)

  • Proficient in Canva and basic video editing tools
