Overview

Social Media & Digital Communications Officer at Foster & Kinship Carers SA (CF&KC-SA). We are the independent peak body representing foster and kinship carers across South Australia. We listen, represent, and amplify the carer voice to uphold carers’ rights and influence policy, practice, and systemic reform.

We are seeking a creative and motivated Social Media & Digital Communications Officer to join our team on a part-time (0.8 FTE), fixed-term contract until June 2026. This role leads the delivery of our Carer Communication Strategy, ensuring carers have timely, accurate, and accessible information.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the delivery of the Carer Communication Strategy to ensure carers receive timely, accurate, and accessible information.
  • Engage directly with the online community by responding to comments and messages, managing social media channels, and co-creating content that informs, inspires, and amplifies the voices of foster and kinship carers.
  • Support digital communications across newsletters, the website, and live coverage of events.
About You / Requirements
  • Strong communicator who loves creating engaging content and building online communities.
  • Experience in social media management, digital communications, and content creation, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to juggle multiple projects.
  • Share our values of respect, inclusion, and advocacy for positive change.
  • Current Australian work authorisation at the time of application.
  • Current Working with Children checks or similar background clearances are required for this position.
