KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Community management: Manage each platform's community to drive engagement, answer queries, and address concerns.
- Content creation: Educate and produce relevant content addressing community needs and concerns.
- Content publishing: Conceptualize, create, and publish engaging content tailored to digital community needs.
- Stakeholder stories: Manage and coordinate interviews with patients, donors, and other stakeholders.
- Influencer partnerships: Assist in coordinating influencer brand collaborations and related activities.
- Event coverage: Attend donor drives and stakeholder events to shoot content, under the guidance of the Social Media Manager and Head of Department.
- Campaign support: Assist with rolling out local content for international social media campaigns.
- Content writing: Manage and coordinate the creation of patient and donor content.
- Additional activities: Assist with budgeting and other ad hoc tasks as needed.
REQUIREMENTS
- A relevant 3-year National Diploma.
- B degree qualification in Journalism, PR, or related fields is advantageous.
- Minimum 2 years of community management experience, with strong writing skills, social media expertise, multitasking ability, and proficiency in videography and editing.
- Data analytics skills are a plus.
- Own car and valid driver’s license.
- Willingness to travel nationally for content creation, training, and meetings.
- Excellent communication, editing, and writing skills.
- Project management skills.
- Passion for community engagement and impactful work.
Note: Appointment will align with the organisation's Employment Equity Plan. Preference will be given to Coloured and African males, but applications from all designated groups are encouraged.
Salary range: R30,000 - R35,000 per month, with potential for market-related offers based on qualifications and experience.
