Our client is a leading Sales and Marketing company specialising in the hospitality sector. They are looking for an experienced Social Media Coordinator to join their expanding team.
The Social Media Coordinator is responsible for the content creation and implementation of social media and digital marketing strategies.
These strategies will aim to increase brand awareness, improve customer engagement, and drive website traffic and bed night sales. The ideal candidate will have a passion for social media and digital marketing, with a strong understanding of the latest trends and best practices, especially within the hospitality industry.
The individual will work closely with the Marketing team to ensure consistency across the portfolio.
Main Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive social media and digital marketing plans aligned with the client's overall marketing strategy and business goals.
- Coordinate with the Director of Client Service to ensure each campaign has clear objectives, target audiences, and a detailed timeline.
- Create, curate, and manage engaging content for social media channels such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and others.
- Understand target audiences to produce content that resonates and drives engagement and revenue.
- Monitor and analyze campaign performance metrics, providing data-driven recommendations for improvement.
- Collaborate with sales, OTA, and reservations teams to create cross-functional campaigns.
- Manage digital advertising campaigns, including display ads, SEM, and social media ads.
- Stay updated with social media and digital marketing trends, incorporating new strategies as appropriate.
- Launch online ads via Google Adwords, Facebook, etc., to increase brand awareness.
- Participate in SEO efforts, including keyword and image optimization.
- Prepare and distribute online newsletters and promotional emails.
Research and Administrative Tasks
- Research audience preferences and current trends.
- Create engaging text, image, and video content.
- Measure web traffic and monitor SEO performance.
- Stay informed about changes across social platforms for maximum effectiveness.
- Report on online reviews and customer feedback.
- Suggest new promotional ideas, such as contests and campaigns.
- Compile monthly reports and insights on community engagement and growth.
- Manage paid marketing channels, including planning, budgeting, implementation, and reporting.
General
- Willingness to travel to clients as needed.
- Maintain up-to-date client folders in line with Proactive standards.
- Stay ahead of industry developments and apply best practices.
- Evaluate and improve standards to ensure industry leadership.
- Maintain an organized workflow based on priorities.
- Identify and report potential leads and opportunities for future business.
- Liaise with suppliers and build relationships with partners like Booking.com, Expedia, and NightsBridge.
- Report any risk factors impacting revenue to PHS and/or the client.
- Keep client work boards updated on Monday.com.
