Overview

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities

Ideation and Design

  • Conduct and apply research to inform project design and enablement.
  • Identify and pilot innovative approaches to education and GBVF challenges.

Project Planning & Execution

  • Develop detailed project plans and budgets aligned to strategic programme goals.
  • Manage implementation of education and GBVF projects, ensuring timely delivery and quality outcomes.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to ensure alignment and accountability.

Sector-Specific Programme Development

  • Design and implement initiatives that address systemic challenges in Basic Education (e.g., literacy, teacher development, infrastructure).
  • Support access, retention, and success in Higher Education, including bursary programmes, academic support, and institutional partnerships.
  • Lead targeted GBVF interventions, including prevention, response, and survivor support programmes.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Build and maintain strategic relationships with government departments, universities, NGOs, and community organisations.
  • Facilitate collaborative platforms and multi-stakeholder dialogues.
  • Represent the Foundation in sectoral forums and working groups.

Monitoring, Evaluation & Learning (MEL)

  • Develop and implement MEL frameworks for all projects.
  • Track performance indicators and compile impact reports.
  • Integrate learning into project refinement and scaling strategies.

Qualifications & Experience :

  • Minimum Qualification : Bachelor’s degree in social sciences, Development Studies, or related field.
  • Preferred : Postgraduate qualification in Education Policy, Gender Studies

Experience Level :

  • 5–8 years in development, philanthropy, or education sectors.
  • Proven experience in managing projects in Basic Education, Higher Education, and GBVF.
  • At least 2–3 years in a management or leadership role.
