Job summary

Scaled is seeking a Video Editor & Motion Designer for their social-first content strategy. This remote, part-time role (3 days a week) in South Africa involves owning edits, crafting motion graphics, and delivering premium content for a fast-growing UK agency with automotive, lifestyle, sport, and hospitality clients.

You’ll cut 30-second social pieces for Reels, TikTok and Shorts, design assets in Photoshop, and ensure the brand looks premium across platforms.

Qualifications

Strong editing and storytelling in short-form content.
Proficient motion design and graphic design skills.
Excellent working knowledge of Premiere Pro; After Effects and Photoshop a plus.

Responsibilities

Edit short-form content for Reels, TikTok and Shorts across a varied client portfolio.
Tell compelling stories in short-form video with strong pacing and hooks.
Create motion graphics, animated typography, titles and branded transitions."
Design graphics and assets in Photoshop to support video content.
Cut ad variations and campaigns optimized for performance.
Edit longer-form content such as brand films or automotive content.
Edit content for the agency’s social channels and client works.
Handle color grading and sound design; ensure quick turnarounds.
Communicate directly with clients in shared channels as questions arise.
Keep footage, projects and assets well organized and scalable.
