ABOUT THE MARKET ACCESS TEAM

Our Market Access team plays a crucial role in expanding patient access to AstraZeneca medicines across therapeutic areas. We connect the healthcare ecosystem through policy shaping, partnerships, stakeholder engagement, and co-creation of payor solutions, aiming to transform healthcare and improve lives through innovation.

What you will do

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners to ensure that AstraZeneca’s medicines reach as many patients as possible, focusing on pricing, reimbursement, and patient access.

Description

Responsible for developing and implementing pricing strategies, analyzing data for patient access submissions, and building relationships with key stakeholders to improve access for AstraZeneca products.

Typical Accountabilities

  1. Delivery on Market Access
  • Implement strategies and develop operational plans in collaboration with teams.
  • Support negotiation strategies and stakeholder mapping.
  • Deliver commercial input to market access processes.
  • Interpret evidence to support market access, identify evidence gaps, and develop plans to address them.
  • Create value through health economic outcomes data and communicate value propositions to funders and decision-makers.
  • Commercial Input to New Product Planning
    • Conduct market segmentation and develop value-added solutions.
    • Plan cross-functional timelines for product launches.
  • Cross-Functional Project Management
    • Manage teams to achieve objectives and coordinate with stakeholders.
  • Influencing Stakeholders
    • Identify and build relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
  • Maintained Administrative Systems
    • Report on strategy implementation and budgets, adhere to policies.

    ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

    • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
    • Minimum 5 years of Market Access Management experience.

    • Robust pricing background for reimbursements.
    • Experience in developing innovative payor solutions.
