Snowflake Architect

We are seeking an experienced Snowflake Architect to lead the design, development, and optimization of a high-performing cloud data platform using Snowflake. This role requires deep expertise in cloud architecture, data warehousing, and data integration best practices. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to create scalable, secure, and efficient data solutions that support business intelligence and analytics initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Architect and design a scalable Snowflake cloud data platform ensuring optimal performance and cost efficiency.
2. Lead data integration by implementing best practices for ETL / ELT pipelines across various data sources.
3. Optimize Snowflake performance through advanced tuning, indexing, and workload management.
4. Implement security best practices in Snowflake including access controls, encryption, and governance.
5. Collaborate with CRM & Dynamics 365 teams to integrate and enhance customer data strategies.
6. Develop data models to support analytical and operational reporting needs.
7. Drive cloud strategy working closely with Azure, AWS, or GCP environments.
8. Mentor and guide data engineering teams on Snowflake best practices and implementation techniques.
9. Stay ahead of trends by researching and adopting emerging data technologies.

Key Requirements:

1. 5 years of experience in cloud data architecture and data warehousing.
2. Expert-level proficiency in Snowflake including schema design, performance tuning, and security best practices.
3. Strong experience integrating CRM systems including Microsoft Dynamics 365 with cloud data platforms.
4. Hands-on expertise in SQL, Python, or Scala for data processing and transformations.
5. Deep understanding of ETL / ELT frameworks, data lakes, and data integration methodologies.
6. Experience working with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
7. Familiarity with data governance, compliance, and security frameworks.
8. Strong communication and leadership skills to collaborate with business and technical stakeholders.
