Responsibilities

  • Plan, organize, and lead the work of subordinates.
  • Ensure delivery and facilitation of consulting services compliant with laws.
  • Complete tax planning and review tax returns (corporate and individual).
  • Prepare VAT returns; knowledge of customs procedures beneficial.
  • Manage the tax provision and compliance processes.
  • Handle all information data requests promptly.
  • Act as the liaison between clients and consultants.
  • Improve margins through efficiency and grow the client portfolio.
  • Mentor team members and provide feedback.
  • Ensure timely and efficient management of the department.
  • Achieve client budget targets and deliver excellent client service.
  • Manage WIP and debtors effectively.

Job description

Drive strategic operational imperatives regionally. Manage, support, coordinate, and administer general financial functions, providing continuous support to team leaders, supervisors, and junior managers. Offer advice, guidance, and direction to line management and employees regarding strategic objectives, financial processes, policies, and procedures. Promote client business development and assist directors/partners in acquiring new business.

Main Duties and Responsibilities :

  • Plan, organize, and lead the work of subordinates.
  • Ensure delivery and facilitation of consulting services to provide a full range of tax services compliant with laws and regulations within set timeframes.
  • Complete tax planning and review medium to complex income tax and provisional tax returns (corporate, individual, trusts).
  • Prepare VAT returns; some knowledge of customs procedures would be advantageous.
  • Manage the tax provision and tax compliance processes comprehensively.
  • Handle all information data requests promptly and effectively.
  • Act as the liaison between clients and consultants.
  • Improve margins through efficiency and grow the client portfolio.
