Skilled Industrial PLC Programmer either in Mitsubishi, Allen Bradley, Siemens, Omron, or Toyopuc

Location: Gauteng

Position Type: Permanent

Experience: 2 to 5+ years working experience as an Industrial PLC Programmer and Coder (on either Mitsubishi, Allen Bradley, Rockwell, Siemens, Omron, or Toyopuc PLCs).

Key Responsibilities:

1. Translation between PLC code and GUI (Graphic User Interface) or SCADA interface.
2. Panel wiring experience.
3. Fault finding skills.
4. Project management experience, including full commissioning from start to finish of PLCs and SCADAs at client sites.
5. Willingness to travel and work at external client premises when needed.

Additional Requirements:

1. Experience in SCADA programming is an advantage.
2. Experience in software design of a PLC on a laptop is an advantage.
3. Willingness to work overtime when needed due to client deadlines (overtime pay provided).
4. Willingness to relocate closer to the company in JHB.
5. Own transport and driver’s license required.
6. Ability to start as soon as possible – preferably immediately.

Salary: R 25 000 - R 40 000 CTC per month (Salary package is dependent on years and skills acquired relevant to this vacancy) plus overtime pay and discretionary annual performance bonus.
