The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing shipments, managing staff, and ensuring quality and safety within the warehouse. This is a 6-month contract position with a high possibility of becoming permanent.

RedCat Recruitment is seeking a suitably qualified and experienced SKD PARTS WAREHOUSE FOREMAN (MOTOR INDUSTRY) for a well-established company based in the Pietermaritzburg area, KwaZulu-Natal .

JOB DESCRIPTION / REQUIREMENTS

Grade 12.

Oversee receiving shipments - this involves unpacking containers including over weekends.

Oversee picking of parts to supply production line.

Supervise, train and discipline SKD staff.

Manage waste disposal generated by SKD department.

Manage truck parts and shortage.

Track excess stock and loose parts.

Maintain quality of the product, supply and service within the warehouse.

Ensure quality procedures are strictly adhered to.

Maintain the company’s health and safety policy, ensuring safe working conditions and practices within the warehouse.

Responsible for good housekeeping.

Assist other sections when required.

Salary package offered : - To be discussed (6-month contract position with high possibility of becoming permanent).
