Site Technician (Working at heights) – Johannesburg.

A national service provider specializing in bird proofing, automated doors, and industrial site maintenance is seeking adaptable, hands-on Site Technicians.

These individuals will work across major client sites (including warehouses and production facilities for global brands) to ensure safe, compliant, and effective installations.

The role is highly practical, requiring someone fit, disciplined, and willing to learn new skills such as working at heights, scaffolding, netting, and general site upkeep.

Candidates must be flexible, able to travel nationally, and committed to maintaining high standards of safety and professionalism

Salary: R18 000 – R20 000 CTC per month.

Minimum Requirements:

• Matric (Grade 12) essential.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transport.
• Must be medically fit to work at heights (medical required).
• Willingness to travel nationally (Durban, Johannesburg, Cape Town, PE, Freestate and Polokwane).
• Physically fit and comfortable with ladders, scaffolding, and outdoor work.
• Strong work ethic, discipline, and willingness to learn.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Install and maintain bird proofing solutions (netting, barriers, and related equipment).
• Assist with site projects including scaffolding, walkways, automated/manual door systems, and general maintenance.
• Work at heights safely and in compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Travel to assigned client sites, clock in/out daily, and provide proof-of-work reports.
• Submit daily feedback via WhatsApp groups, including next-day planning.
• Follow strict safety and medical guidelines while onsite.
• Support the business with additional site-related tasks as required (e.g., patching holes, minor painting, equipment adjustments).
• Uphold professional conduct at all times with clients and other multinational partners.
