DESCRIPTION / SYNOPSIS : An exciting opportunity exists for a highly experienced Site Technician to join a respected multinational company servicing the Mining industry.

This is a site-based, hands-on role - not your typical office job.

Based in Johannesburg, the role involves frequent travel to key mining regions including Thabazimbi, Rustenburg and Polokwane - and occasionally international sites.You'll manage a team and oversee installation, maintenance and repair of large-scale grinding machinery (Ball and SAG Mills) at various sites, ensuring equipment is aligned, operational, and compliant with safety and engineering standards.MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS : Fitter Trade Qualification (or close to completion) or Qualified MillwrightAdditional technical or mining certifications will be beneficialMinimum 8 years of mining-related, site-based technical experienceHands-on knowledge of : o Grinding mills, especially Ball and SAG millso Girth gears and pinions (incl.
