Site Supervisor

Location: Kempton Park, Johannesburg

Salary: R25 - R35 Per Month (Based On Experience)

Mobile Racking and Shelving business seeks a Site Supervisor capable of installing and maintaining mobile racking systems in warehouses.

The ideal candidate must handle both electrical and mechanical aspects of installations.

Responsibilities
  1. Liaise with clients to maintain and improve service levels.
  2. Conduct independent site inspections and report findings.
  3. Perform repairs and maintenance on new and existing systems.
  4. Manage and plan new installations.
  5. Respond to breakdowns promptly.
  6. Train and supervise assistants as needed.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Recognisable technical qualifications - RED SEAL Electrician.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a RED SEAL Electrician.
  • PLC experience is advantageous.
  • Proficient in fault finding and working independently.
  • Physically and medically fit to work in cold environments (-20°C).
  • Ability to work at heights and read electrical drawings (advantageous).
  • Willing to work weekends if required.
  • Disciplined, detail-oriented, and able to follow procedures.
  • Capable of administrative tasks such as reporting, quoting, and documentation.
  • Ability to complete projects on schedule.
  • Valid Code EC or EC1 driver's license.
  • Valid and updated passport.
  • Clear criminal record, trustworthy, reliable, and sober habits.
  • Self-assured with effective communication skills.
  • Team player.
