Site Supervisor - Cape Town (Strand)

Ecowize is looking for an experienced Site Supervisor to coordinate and manage a hygiene team dedicated to delivering a food safety facility based in Strand, Cape Town.

Job Description

The purpose is to oversee the work activities of the hygiene team to ensure that the site is handed over to the client according to required hygiene standards. The site supervisor will be responsible for training the hygiene team in using all equipment and chemicals in a safe manner and be responsible for site safety and making sure that teams perform tasks timeously.

Summary of responsibilities :

1. Lead and manage a team to produce a food-safe site daily.
2. Manage and achieve the budgeted man-hours and purchases in their section.
3. Maintain a hygienic and safe working environment with compliance to all statutory safety regulations.
4. Manage individual and team performance; coach and develop staff.
5. Responsible for all operational activities in their section, including operational problem solving.
6. Maintain customer relationships; meet customer expectations and eliminate plant damage & downtime.

Job Requirements

• Grade 12.
• Deep Cleaning experience is essential.
• Chemical Stock control experience is essential.
• Exposure to Industrial Relations.
• High-Quality administrative skills required.
• Flexibility to work at various sites on short notice.
