Overview
- Supervise waste and painting employees to include providing guidance, training, and annual performance reviews
- Conduct process control checks in waste and painting department
- To manage and control waste and painting teams in all aspects of the operation to ensure that the business processes are conducted efficiently on a daily basis
Duties & Responsibilities
- Organise and manage waste disposal
- Ensure waste removal, site cleaning and recycling standards are maintained throughout
- Recoding and submission of waste management documents
- Collecting of consumables every morning
- Preparation of waste management area for recycling separation / collection of waste
- Conduct weekly waste and painting audits
- Conduct daily inspection in the yard after cleaning has taken place
- Ensure that employees are suitably attired with appropriate PPE in their areas of work
- Maintain clean as you go in areas of work
- Allocation of staff members at waste and painting areas every morning
- Ensure that painters carry out painting job cards as specifications
- Inspect painted areas before closing of painting job cards
- Ensure that all staff under you does their job as allocated to them
- Ensure dilution of sanitizers for all fat traps before cleaning starts and chemical control
Desired Experience & Qualification
- Matric / Higher qualification
- Forklift License
- A relevant qualification in supervisory or waste knowledge
- Knowledge of waste management and recycling principles
- Good knowledge in industry
- Computer Literate
- Excellent communication skills
- Leadership skills
- 2-5 years' experience
