Job Title: LCS Site Supervisor - Rustenburg

We are seeking an LCS Site Supervisor to join our Rustenburg LCS team. You will be responsible for providing Metso’s customers with professional technical support of its products.

This position involves building and maintaining long-term relationships with key decision makers at the customer site level and promoting Metso’s value-added offerings to create a healthy business with high customer satisfaction. You will report to the Site Manager.

This role is primarily based in Rustenburg Northwest at the Waterval Smelters site.

Team You Belong To

You will collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders, such as the LCS Support Centre, to ensure a shared understanding and application of technical and safety support to deliver excellent customer service on Metso’s equipment.

What You’ll Do

You will be responsible for operations including:

  • Site Operations
  • Pressure Filter Project upgrades and modernizations
  • Maintaining a strong Health & Safety culture on site
  • Ensuring delivery according to contract scope and managing deviations
  • Ensuring process compliance
  • Communicating performance reviews, reports, and issues escalation
  • Managing stakeholder relationships
  • Supervising operators for plant utilization and metallurgical performance
  • Performing plant inspections and diagnosing deficiencies
  • Coordinating maintenance with engineering
  • Reporting on activities and performance metrics
  • Driving team achievement of production targets and skill transfer

Requirements & Competences

  • Diploma in Metallurgical Engineering or Mineral Processing (beneficial)

  • Process start-up experience (a plus)
  • Strong PC skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
