The position of Site Quality Manager is based in our Brits plant, in South Africa, within the C Power Business Group.

As a Site Quality Manager, you will be responsible for directing all quality activities related to customers, products, processes, and systems. You will ensure compliance with customer requirements and internal quality standards while maintaining and auditing the Quality Management System. You will report to both the Country Director and the Quality Director Europe.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain the company’s Quality Management System in line with IATF 16949 standards.
  • Establish and maintain quality work instructions for the department.
  • Oversee the development, implementation, and maintenance of control plans.
  • Act as the management representative for IATF 16949 compliance.
  • Monitor quality audits to ensure compliance with customer and system requirements.
  • Coordinate corrective and preventive actions for quality standard non-conformance.
  • Maintain document control and quality records.
  • Implement and maintain statistical process control to ensure production quality.
  • Evaluate non-conforming materials and products, recommending corrective actions.
  • Oversee inspection and testing processes to ensure adherence to product quality standards.
  • Ensure effective Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) aligned with customer requirements.
  • Guarantee the calibration of measuring equipment.
  • Ensure customer-specific requirements are implemented and maintained.

Profile:

  • Engineering Degree or Diploma with a proven track record in quality management.
  • At least 4 years of experience in implementing and maintaining Quality Management Systems.
  • Strong knowledge of automotive industry requirements.
  • Minimum 2 years of management experience in the automotive sector.
  • Proficiency in quality tools and methodologies (SPC, PPAP, FMEA, 8D, etc.).
  • Strong skills in problem-solving, prioritization, teamwork, and assertiveness.
  • Autonomous and proactive learning mindset
