FMCG Site Manager

Reference: CPT-AK-1

The FMCG concern is seeking a Site Manager responsible for overseeing a full manufacturing site. The ideal candidate should have a cross-functional understanding of all areas of a manufacturing facility and be skilled in managing personnel and labor relations, along with plant operations.

Responsibilities
  1. Conduct a thorough review of all processes and procedures, identifying areas for efficiency improvements.
  2. Plan and monitor site activities to ensure work is completed within budgets and contractual schedules.
  3. Maintain industrial relations, handle unresolved grievances per company policy, and chair disciplinary hearings if necessary.
  4. Ensure availability of tools, equipment, and materials, and maintain proper controls over them.
  5. Ensure the right personnel are available and monitor man-hours and costs.
  6. Implement and monitor the Management Control System as required.
  7. Ensure contractual requirements are met and protect the company’s contractual and commercial interests.
  8. Maintain the safety of company assets and ensure proper maintenance.
  9. Implement and adhere to company policies and procedures among all personnel.
  10. Monitor project progress, prepare interim and final billings, and provide accurate financial assessments.
  11. Ensure safety procedures are followed on-site and provide training in safety, quality assurance, and other relevant skills.
Requirements
  1. Engineering background, preferably in Process, Chemical, or Operations disciplines.
  2. Diploma or Degree with significant manufacturing experience.
  3. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  4. Strategic planning and financial management skills.
  5. Ability to handle multiple high-priority issues under stress.
  6. Experience in FMCG or manufacturing industries.
