Howden South Africa is seeking an experienced Site Manager GO x4 to oversee shutdowns, maintenance, and installation projects on customer sites.

What Will You Do?

1. Manage projects to be completed on time as agreed with the customer.
2. Handle site administration, including communication with clients, monitoring job progress, labor management, quality assurance, production orders, scope of work, and compiling a Data Book with reports and specifications for the Site Supervisor.
3. Be accountable for HR issues on-site, such as grievances, disciplinary actions, and staff motivation.
4. Ensure all safety regulations and site safety file requirements are met to safeguard worker wellbeing.
5. Manage maintenance/shutdown crews to ensure timely work completion and keep the customer informed of critical issues.
6. Conduct customer visits, attend meetings with existing and new clients to generate new business opportunities.
7. Evaluate the site labor force to facilitate training setup.
8. Comply with Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) regulations.

Your Experience Should Be...

1. Qualified artisan, preferably a Fitter, Boilermaker, or Welder.
2. At least 5 years of managing Supervisors and Artisans on sites.
3. Minimum of 3 years in a technical managerial role.
4. National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
5. Proficient in computer literacy.
6. Valid driver’s license.
7. Knowledge of NEC 3 contract.
8. Formal training in quality and safety standards.
