Site Foreman / Project Manager

Acumen Resources Development Parow, Western Cape, South Africa. Well established and successful company within the flooring and waterproofing industry seeks a Site Foreman with min 5+ years relevant and recent experience. We are seeking a skilled and motivated Team leader to oversee daily site operations and manage a team of flooring and waterproofing applicators.

This role requires strong leadership, organizational abilities, and an aptitude for technical and process-driven applications.

Key Responsibilities include:

1. Team Management: Lead, motivate, and manage teams of flooring and waterproofing applicators on site.
2. Transportation: Organize and provide transportation for teams to and from work sites.
3. Project Planning: Plan and coordinate job activities, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
4. Site Reporting: Monitor and report on site activities, including QA/QC, productivity, and man-hours.
5. Identify and document delays and issues impacting progress.
6. Compliance: Ensure all work adheres to safety regulations and company standards.
7. Scheduling: Be available for weekend and night work as required by project demands.

Requirements Include:

1. Proven experience managing labour teams in a construction or related environment.
2. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills to motivate and coordinate team members.
3. Aptitude for understanding and overseeing technical and process-based applications.
4. Exceptional organizational and problem-solving abilities.
5. Ability to adapt to changing schedules and work under pressure.
6. Experience in the flooring and waterproofing industry will be a huge advantage.
