Job summary

Network Finance is seeking a commercially minded finance professional to act as the finance link between Head Office and operational sites, ensuring accurate and timely financial information flows across teams and locations.

You will visit sites regularly, support budgeting, forecasting and financial planning, analyse performance and stock movements, and partner with operations to improve controls, reporting and process automation, including AI-enabled improvements.

Qualifications

• BCom degree or equivalent qualification.
• 3+ years' relevant experience in finance.
• Completed articles or commercial accounting experience, with exposure preferred.
• Strong budgeting, financial analysis and operational finance knowledge.
• Experience working with stock and inventory.
• Willingness to travel regularly to operational sites.
• Strong Excel and financial reporting skills.
• Exposure to AI, automation or tech-driven process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Act as the finance link between Head Office and operational sites, ensuring accurate and timely financial information flows between teams.
• Visit operational sites regularly to understand business performance, financial processes and operational challenges.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and financial planning across operational locations.
• Analyze site performance, costs, variances and key financial drivers, providing insights to management.
• Monitor stock and inventory movements, identifying discrepancies and concerns.
• Partner with operational teams to improve financial controls, reporting and performance.
• Investigate variances and work with site teams to understand drivers behind numbers.
• Support month-end reporting, reconciliations and core accounting activities.
• Identify opportunities to streamline finance processes through automation and AI-enabled solutions.
• Assist with implementing improved reporting tools, processes and controls across the business.
• Provide practical financial guidance to operational stakeholders and management.
