Job Description

At Experian, our Sales Operations Manager is an integral part of our Commercial Finance team, aligning planning, execution, and evaluation of sales activities across our 11 markets. They provide vital support to the EMEA & APAC Region by applying best practice processes to sales management and reporting, ensuring clarity in revenue reporting and forecasting, and driving profitable growth.

The Sales Operations Manager oversees sales reporting (pipeline, wins, losses, conversions), new business forecasting, system management, data quality, and governance within the Sales department. They provide insights into regional sales and revenue reporting, demonstrating a clear understanding of product, market, and client trends.

This role reports to the Head of Pricing and Sales Operations EMAP.

Responsibilities

  1. Design and implement sales processes, policies, and systems.
  2. Manage the sales pipeline, forecasting, and reporting.
  3. Coordinate sales commissions and incentives.
  4. Analyze sales performance, trends, and metrics.
  5. Provide sales training on systems.
  6. Evaluate and optimize the sales technology stack.
  7. Resolve sales-related issues and escalations.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years experience in a sales-facing role.
  • Excellent people management, delegation, and development skills.
  • Proficiency in data analysis, visualization, and insights extraction from large datasets.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, CRM, and sales software (e.g., Salesforce).
  • Experience within a complex matrix organization.
  • Project management experience and strong financial understanding.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Leadership qualities and influence.
  • Customer focus and empathy.
