Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a practical Site Engineer to oversee construction activities around Paarl. The role focuses on safe, efficient work aligned with design specs and project plans, with hands-on leadership of on-site operations and coordination with subcontractors.

You will ensure quality control, monitor milestones, and communicate site conditions to the project manager and design team. A Civil Engineering degree and 3+ years in site roles are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent is required.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Site Engineer or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and safety protocols.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specs.

About the Role

Our client is seeking a practical and organized Site Engineer to oversee construction activities on various projects based in and around Paarl. This role is essential for ensuring that construction work is carried out safely, efficiently, and according to design specifications and project plans. You will be responsible for managing on-site operations, coordinating with subcontractors, quality control, and ensuring project milestones are met.
