Your mission :

Site Management
- Oversee and manage construction activities at the site, ensuring adherence to project specifications, codes, and safety regulations.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, identify potential issues, and ensure compliance with engineering and design requirements.
- Collaborate closely with project managers, architects, and subcontractors to ensure timely project completion.
- Supervise and manage construction projects from start to finish, ensuring adherence to project plans and specifications.
- Manage Site Engineers & Foremen on multiple projects.
- Maintain productivity on site in line with the programme.
- Represent the company at project and technical meetings.
- Ensure monthly reports, QA documents, registers, and other documentation are up to date.
Technical
- Analyze and interpret engineering drawings, survey reports, and other technical documentation to guide the construction process.
- Report project updates, milestones, and potential risks to the project manager and key stakeholders.
- Provide technical guidance and expertise to resolve construction-related issues.
- Ensure understanding of construction details by Foremen.
- Draw up method statements for tasks on site.
- Conduct site inspections related to all trades in line with QA policy.
- Manage all foremen and staff on site.
Cost Control
- Plan and oversee allocation of resources, materials, and equipment to optimize project efficiency.
- Monitor project costs, identify cost-saving opportunities, and adhere to budget constraints.
- Place orders for approval by Site Agent / Contracts Manager.
- Manage breakages and materials stock.
- Maintain and issue variances/instructions to QS, ensuring timely submission.
- Handle capital expenditure and hire costs if required.
Reporting & Documentation
- Prepare fortnightly reports for review by Site Agent / PM / CM.
- Ensure adjustments to the programme are justified by delays or EOTs.
- Check weekly QA sheets and sign off on them.
- Draft IRS for review and updating by Site Agent or Contracts Manager.
- Submit EOTs, NOPDs, etc., under guidance of CM / PM / Site Agent.
- Manage change orders and quality control measures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college.
- 4-5 years of experience as a site engineer, civil engineer, or equivalent role.
- Proficiency in managing and supervising construction projects.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
- Ability to manage multiple projects at various stages.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
- Competence in assessing and interpreting survey reports and critical data.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills.
- Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and coordinate with stakeholders.
- Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality results.
- Thorough knowledge of the Building Code, safety regulations, and standards.
- Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and management skills.
- Knowledge of sustainable construction practices.
- Understanding of budgeting and cost control.
