Qualifications

• 10+ ans d'expérience en tant que Site Agent dans des projets routiers.
• Inscription SACPCMP est requise.
• Doit être enregistré auprès de SAICE ou ECSA.

Responsibilities

• Planifier et superviser toutes les activités de construction sur site.
• Gérer le personnel et les sous-traitants pour garantir la qualité.
• Préparer des rapports de coût hebdomadaires/mensuels.

Job description

Our client based in the Engineering sector is seeking a Site Agent for their Mkhondo region. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader with a strong background in roads construction, rehabilitation, and maintenance.

Key Responsibilities :

• Plan, schedule, and supervise all onsite construction activities
• Manage site personnel and subcontractors to ensure quality and compliance
• Oversee procurement of plant, labour, and materials
• Ensure adherence to OHS and environmental standards
• Prepare daily costings and monitor project profitability
• Compile weekly / monthly progress and cost reports
• Liaise with clients, engineers, CLOs, and HR
• Produce and manage project schedules and payment certificates
• Implement innovative construction methods to improve productivity
• Uphold integrity and compliance with contractual obligations

Minimum Requirements :

• BTech in Civil Engineering or related field
• 10+ years proven experience as a Site Agent (roads projects)
• Proficient in MS Projects , CCS Candy , Build Smart , and AutoCAD
• SACPCMP registration (required)
• Registered with SAICE or ECSA
